Cot Dammit Elizabeth Song Released!

I'm excited to announce the release of my latest song/music video entitled Cot Dammit Elizabeth. It's kinda funny how this all came together; as most of you know this is not my usual style, but I felt this genre best suit the situation.

I met Ekow Fynn (a famous facebook comedian) at District nightclub in downtown Kitchener. Since I've always been a fan of his funny "Cot Dammit Elizabeth" videos, I got inspired to create this song and felt that a humorous rap style would go great.

After I finished the song, I sent it to him to make sure he liked it. I wouldn't of wanted to release something inspired by his brand, that he didn't think was awesome. After a quick Instagram dm, he listened to it and had a really positive response! To stream the song on Spotify/Apple Music press here.

So now I had the song, but in order to really bring this idea to life I wanted to create a fun video. I got together with some friends, taught them a simple dance move I had created a few hours before (called "The Jonaloo" lol) and started dancing all over Wilfred Laurier University / the University of Waterloo. We went to the library, cafeteria, in-front of Phil's Grandson's Place (A famous local bar) and all over the place getting reactions. The entire experience was really fun and the students where extremely supportive!

Hope you enjoy the video and if you like it make sure to Subscribe. Cheers!

All the best,

JONY

New Music Video Filmed at The Stampede Corral in Kitchener

I wrote this song after a crazy night at the Stampede Corral in Kitchener, Ontario. So it made sense to film the video there.

Aha we all had so much fun making the video, watch until the very end to see a funny outtake! Also if you enjoyed it make sure to subscribe, to get notified when a new video is released.

Cheers!

Summer has started!

Aye it's JONY,

I'm so stoked that summer is finally here that I've decided to release a summer song called Drunken Sight!

I got together with two of my best friends, drank some beer and recorded a funny video. Overall the project was so fun to create! Check it out below:

Drunken Sight is Available on iTunes/Spotify and all other online platforms:

Also I wanted to let you know that I have been making a transition from covers to original songs, these new songs I'm releasing are not part of any upcoming album/EP, they are just practice. I want to get better at recording/producing an original idea and creating a video, all in a short period of time. Most of the real songs from the album/EP are written but I haven't started recording them.

Stay tuned for more new music by following me on Instagram / Facebook / Youtube.

Cheers!

Photoshoot With Adam

Alright, so last week I had a photo session with my good friend Adam, he's an awesome photographer!

The first spot we went to was in this awesome rustic den, hidden within an outdoor shopping center. I loved the look of that place.

It was actually pretty funny, for the second spot we went to this barn late at night to try to get some shots (literally looked like a scene from the Walking Dead lol) and while walking we hear this weird noise... We both looked up at the same time and noticed we set off some sort of motion sensor alarm, so we ran outta there quick! We weren't able to get those shots, but improvised and found another barn aha.

It started getting pretty cold, and we were a bit far from were we lived, so we decided to head back and go for some burgers/beer. Overall it was a productive Friday!

Check out the shots below

If you want to see more of Adam's work, check his photos out on Facebook here: Adam Malthaner Photography, he has years of experience shooting everything from formal weddings, to sport cars and everything in-between.

Starting My Next Project!

I'm so excited to let you know that I'm starting to work on EP number 2!

I've already began the writing process and now I'm just trying to group the right songs together. It is always really important for me that in each project the songs share a similar feeling, its really hard sometimes though because I have so many songs to choose from, but slowly it is starting to come together.

Once the writing is all finished then I'll begin the recording process. My hope is to be able to keep creating covers/vlogs and other content for my youtube channel, while working on this project at the same time.

I live for creating!

There is no better feeling for me then making something that was not there before, and releasing it out to the world. I'm so grateful for anyone who has watched/supported me along this journey. I'm still really far from my goal but day by day I feel myself getting closer, and I truly love what I'm doing.

I'll keep you updated on my email list! :)

Much Love,

JONY
